Rich and I have been riverbuffs for some 25 years. It has been a fascinating journey that has provided endless stories from both past and present, and some of our more remarkable photographs. We have shared many of those stories and photographs on our website at www.greatriver.com and in our guidebook series, "Discover! America's Great River Road, Vols 1-4."
Many children across the US and in many countries have learned about the Mississippi River through our workbook for kids, THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER ACTIVITY GUIDE FOR KIDS.
Finally, it has been our great joy to travel during the past 17 years on many dozens of times as a guest lecturer on all the Delta Queen cruise boats on most of America's navigable rivers. I've always freely offered up my stories. Now I hope you enjoy Rich's photos which highlight not only our time on the river, but our travels around the world.
Our resolution for the New Year is to organize our many images so as to be available as possible to as many viewers as are interested.
